Rafting

Rafting is a fun river sport performed on rivers flowing with boats called raft. The main thing in rafting is to pass the raft you are in without overturning, by directing it with a shovel, through rocks and obstacles. Rafting is done in teams of 4 to 10 people and to be successful is to be a team that moves like a single body. To ensure safety and steering, an experienced rafting guide is accompanied by it. In this sport, rivers are divided into six degrees according to their difficulty. 6. grade refers to the most difficult courses and 1st degree refers to the easiest courses. What we offer in Köprülü Canyon is a 2nd degree track that is not too difficult. It is an adventure full of excitement and fun for 14 km in a fascinating nature, in a river that is 8-10 degrees clear due to its natural spring water in extremely hot weather during the summer months. It is a fun holiday activity for anyone who does not have serious health problems, according to insurance rules.

After you are picked up from your hotel at the time given by our company, you will reach our facility at the end of a 1-1.5 hour journey, then you will be given the necessary information about rafting by our professional teams. After reaching the starting point of the rafting with our shuttle services, a little nature walk will take a photo at the historical Köprülü Canyon, which is the 2000-year-old Roman Bridge. After giving our customers historical information about Köprülü Canyon, they are gathered in the rafting area and distributed to the boats in groups. Guides are given information about rafting, introduction of equipment, first aid information, rowing and towing technique, boat position, positions in draft, and obeying the commands of the captain of the boat. After the last checks made by the guides, the boats are boarded and the start is started around 11:30 / 12:00. After the start, there is a break for swimming, jumping and taking pictures in the first 3rd km. At the 7th km, there is a lunch break. Excitement continues uninterruptedly for the remaining 7 km. At the Finish Point, the photos and videos taken during the bridge canyon rafting tour along with the rest and tour evaluations are exhibited. (Sales are not included in the package tour, but are extra.) After the preparations for return transfers are completed, the vehicles will be boarded at 16:30 and departure from Köprülü Canyon National Park. Our daily rafting tour in Köprülü canyon is completed after all our participants are dropped back to the points where they were taken in the morning.
